Snowmobile Access

Snowmobiles are one of the best ways to access terrain on Thompson Pass. There are many peaks available a short ride away from Basecamp.

More than 115 snowmobiles showed up at Tailgate Alaska 2011 - making them a preferred mode of transportation.

We are working on having snowmobile rentals available at the basecamp with a local Alaskan Company.

Transportation to get your sled to Alaska is available through Lynden Transportation

Usually you can work with people who have sleds up there to get rides. And there have been operators out there offing $40-60 powder runs.

You can also rent a sled from AK Toy Rental

You get a good daily discount for long term rentals, so this is not a bad way to go.
