Situated in the middle of Thompson Pass, our basecamp is located smack dab in the middle of the best snowboarding terrain yet discovered. Every season, since its discovery in the early 1990s, professional riders have returned each season to test themselves in the Chugach.

The camp is set up next to the Alaska Backcountry Adventures helipad. Access to lines like the Berlin Wall, Python, Rippin' Ridge, Brobowl Halfpipe, Schoolbus, Goodwills and others are all in the direct vicinity. Each hill a mountain unto itself with multiple riding options.

The basecamp itself consists of a wall tent heated by a woodstove, beer garden tent, dome structure and cabin -

Plus all participants are encouraged to bring their own set-ups!
